The Fijiana 7's team have booked a spot in the fifth place playoff after defeating South Africa 40-12 in the Commonwealth 7's 5th place women's semifinal.
Fijiana scored 5 converted tries against a tough South African side.
Fiji’s tries were scored by Viniana Riwai, Priscilla Siata, Timaima Ravisa, Ana Naimasi and Lavena Cavuru.
Meanwhile, Rusila Nagasau was yellow carded which allowed the South Africans to score their only try in the second half.
Fijiana will now meet Kenya in the 5th place playoff at 2.49 this afternoon.
In the main semifinal, Australia will play Canada at 2.49pm today while New Zealand will take on England at 1.21pm.
