Fijiana to face Brazil in Challenge Trophy semi-final tomorrow

The Fijiana 7s team will face Brazil in the Challenge Trophy semi‑final in the Langford 7s tomorrow.

Fiji lost all their pool matches.

They went down to France 19‑14 in their first pool match, got thrashed by USA 28‑7 and lost to Spain 21‑14 in their last pool match.

In the Cup quarterfinals, New Zealand will face Spain, USA will take on hosts Canada, England will play France while Australia will take on Russia.

In other Day 1 results, New Zealand thrashed Russia 26‑7, England thumped China 38‑0, USA defeated Spain 21‑12 while Australia thrashed Ireland 33‑5.

The Fijiana 7s team will play Brazil at 6am tomorrow.
