The Fijiana 7s team has improved on their standings in the HSBC Women’s 7s series after winning the Langford 7s Trophy Challenge against China 26-19.
The Fijiana 7s team were sitting on 13th place but after their win they are now placed 10th with 17 points.
Current leaders, New Zealand increased their lead to 92 points after defeating Australia 21-17 in the final.
Langford 7s Silver medalist Australia is on 4th place with 74 points, bronze medalist winner USA maintain its 2nd place position with 80 points while Canada is sitting on 3rd place with 78 points.
In the results from today’s game, Russia defeated Spain 24-7 in the seventh place play-offs, Canada thrashed England 31-7 in the fifth place play-offs while USA defeated France 26-5 in the bronze final.
