The Fijiana 7s team has beaten Papua New Guinea 43-0 in the Women’s Challenge quarterfinal of the Rugby World Cup Sevens.
Fiji left PNG scoreless after running in a total of seven tries.
Fiji led PNG 21-0 at half time.
Raijeli Daveua and Ana Maria Roqica scored two tries each while Asinate Savu, Miriama Naiobasali and Mereula Toroti scored Fiji’s other tries.
They will now face Japan in the Trophy Challenge semifinals at 5.36 this afternoon.
Meanwhile the Fijiana 7s team lost their opening match in the Rugby World Cup Sevens women’s competition this morning after going down 19-12 to Spain.
