Fijiana 7s and 15s coaches announced

Fiji Rugby Union has announced Saiasi Fuli as the Head Coach of the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team.

In a statement, FRU has confirmed that Fuli will step into the role following a successful 2018 season as Assistant Coach with the Fiji Airways Drua and prior to that the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s Team. 

Fuli is a former Flying Fijian and Fiji 7s representative and has coached at Provincial and Club Level. 

FRU has also confirmed that former Flying Fijian Alivereti Doviverata has been confirmed as the Fiji Airways Fijiana XV Head Coach. 

FRU CEO John O’Connor says that the appointments are vital as Fiji targets to do well in the HSBC Women's and Mens Series with the view to qualify and retain our Gold Medal for the Mens 7s and a medal for the Fijiana 7s at the 2020 Olympic Games.

O’Connor also highlighted that they are also targeting to qualify for the World Rugby Women's World Cup in 2021.
