The Swire Shipping Fijian Latui made a strong comeback for a dramatic finish to win 38-32 over Kagifa Samoa in the first round of the Rapid Rugby competition Pacific Showcase.
The Latui were trailing 31-32 before Ifereimi Tovilevu scored the winning try in the last minute to win the game.
The two team were locked at 19-all at halftime.
The Latui also scored Global Rapid Rugby's first Power Try through fly-half Tuidraki Samusamuvodre.
Meanwhile, John Stewart was impressive as he scored two tries.
Other tries for the Latui came from Peni Naulago and Johnny Dyer.
There were over 4,000 spectators at Churchill Park.
The Latui will now take on the Western Force at 3.10pm next Saturday at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
