The Swire Shipping Fijian Latui have adapted well to a host of new rules ahead of the opening round of the Rapid Rugby Competition this weekend against Kagifa Samoa.
This includes 9 points power tries for running in a try from their 22 metre line, rolling substitutions, 35 minutes for each half of the game and changes to territorial kicking rules.
Coach Senirusi Seruvakula says that the competition is designed to be just that, rapid and perfect for Fiji style.
Seruvakula believes the host of rules are not new to the players as this was how the Fiji Airways Fijian Drua played last year, running rugby from the 22 meter line to the try line.
The Fijian Latui will take on Kagifa Samoa at 3.10pm this Saturday at Churchill Park and will face the Western Force next Saturday also at Churchill Park.
