Fijian Basketball player Joshua Fox has earned a place with the Cheshire Phoenix ‑ a professional basketball club in the British Basketball League.

Fox had recently graduated from National Collegiate Athletic Association Division 1 School UC Davis where he averaged 15 points and seven rebounds per game.

The 6 foot 6 inch forward was raised in the United States however was born in Fiji and was part of the Fiji Men’s basketball team that took part in the Pacific Games in PNG last year.

Cheshire Phoenix coach Colin O’Reilly says Joshua is a real hard‑nosed competitor who fits in with the identity they are trying to build.

He says Joshua will be a player that the fans take to immediately on and off the court.

Fiji‑born Joshua Fox will his make his home debut in the Cheshire Phoenix preseason friendly on the 18th September vs USA team Ballers Beyond Heaven.

The Cheshire Phoenix will play their opening British Basketball League on the 25th of September.
