The Fiji Mens and Womens Volleyball teams have started their Oceania Volleyball Championship on a high note with impressive wins on day one of the competition.
The Mens Fiji White defeated Kiribati with three sets and also beat Solomon A with 3 sets while the Fiji Blue also outclassed Solomon B with 3 sets.
In other Mens result, Samoa beat Tuvalu with 3 straight sets.
In the Womens division, the Fiji White beat Solomon B with 3 sets while Fiji Blue defeated Solomon A with 3 straight sets.
Today, the New Caledonia Mens team will face Samoa at 1pm, Fiji Blue will take on Tuvalu at 5pm.
The first game will be played by the Womens team from Tuvalu and Samoa B at 11 this morning.
The Gates at the Vodafone Arena will open from 9am today.
