Fiji soccer team defenders will need to be on high alert when they play the New Zealand All Whites in a World Cup qualifying match next Saturday.

The New Zealand strike force is likely to be led by Chris Wood who plays for Leeds United in the second division of English Football and he is the leading goal scorer in the competition with 22 goals.

The Fiji soccer defence will most likely have the likes of veteran Taniela Waqa, Ilaitia Tuilau and Remeru Takiata.

The Fiji soccer team will play New Zealand at 1pm next Saturday at Churchill Park and you can catch the live commentary of that match on our sister station Radio Sargam.

Meanwhile Suva will play Rakiraki at 3pm Sunday in the Vodafone Premier League at Ratu Cakobau Park.
