Fiji men beat New Caledonia in men's basketball

The Fiji Men’s Basketball team put up a superb performance against New Caledonia to win 79-58 this afternoon in the Pacific Games.

This is Fiji’s second win in Papua New Guinea.

Fiji Captain, Leonard Whippy says they have got a lot of confidence out of this match as New Caledonia is the defending champions.

Fiji defeated Nauru 126‑52 in their first match yesterday and their third match will be against Papua New Guinea at 9pm tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Women’s Basketball team will play New Caledonia at 3pm tomorrow.

In soccer, the Fiji men’s team will play Federated States of Micronesia at 10am tomorrow.

Fiji drew 1-all with Vanuatu yesterday.
