Fiji just needs a draw against NZ to qualify for OFC U17 Championship semifinals

The Fiji soccer team defeated Samoa 3-0 in the OFC U17 Championship in Tahiti.

Fiji will now just need a draw against New Zealand to qualify for the semifinals from their pool.

Fiji team captain Semi Matalu opened the account in the 9th minute for a perfect start.

Ratu Dau increased Fiji’s lead in the 17th minute to make it 2-0 till the breather.

Dau scored his second goal and the final goal of the match in the 62nd minute.

Fiji’s next game is against NZ on Sunday.

Earlier on, New Zealand defeated Solomon Islands 2-1.

Meanwhile all Vodafone premier league games for this weekend has been postponed.
