Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan believes the national team has a better defence record from the Wellington and Sydney 7s tournaments.
Fiji finished third in both tournaments and is still leading the World Sevens Series standing with 69 points.
Fijivillage questioned Ryan about Fiji’s defence and the plans going forward as we look vulnerable when the opposition has the ball.
Ryan believes that Fiji is on track and there should be no worries.
Ryan adds that he will be looking for a cover for the rover and wing positions.
Ryan is also pleading to the supporters to stop attacking wing Savenaca Rawaca about his headline regarding Sonny Bill Williams last week.
The national team is expected to rest for one week before the team gets back to camp to prepare for the next leg in Las Vegas and Vancouver.
Fiji is pooled with Samoa, France and Argentina in the Las Vegas 7s which will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
