The Fiji Under 23 soccer team failed to win their second match of the Four Nations Friendship Cup in Vanuatu as they were held to a 1-all draw by New Caledonia this evening.
Labasa striker Christopher Wasasala scored for the Fijian team in the first half however New Caledonia scored in the 87th minute.
Fiji was held 1-all by Solomon Islands in their first match on Saturday.
The team has only two points after two matches.
Fiji will face host Vanuatu at 4pm on Wednesday.
The Four Nations Friendship Cup has been organized for the first time where Fiji, Vanuatu, Solomons and New Caledonia will play round robin matches.
Meanwhile in the Pacific Games, Fiji is in group A with Tahiti, Vanuatu and the Federated States of Micronesia.
The Fiji Under 23 soccer team will play its first group match against Vanuatu at 4pm on the 3rd of next month.
