The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 rugby team is aiming to win the World Junior Trophy in Uruguay which starts later this month.
Head Coach Koli Sewabu says they want to win this tournament in order to qualify to the Junior World Championship with Tier 1 teams next year.
Sewabu believes their preparations are well on track.
He says that six Under 20 players will be playing for the Fijian Drua team against Tonga A at Churchill Park tomorrow.
A lot of the players in the side were products of last years Deans competition including RKS prop Luke Tagi, QVS prop Livai Natave, Lelean Memorial School halfback Peni Matawalu, Marist halfback Sefanaia Seviua, Fabiano Navabale and Filimoni Savou.
The tournament will feature 8 teams in two pools and will be held from 29 August until 10 September with the host Uruguay and the Junior World Cup relegation country Japan qualifying automatically.
The remaining six countries will include Hong Kong, Namibia, Chile, Canada, Portugal and Fiji.
The Vodafone Fiji U20 is in Pool B and will be up against hosts Uruguay, Hong Kong and Portugal.
The side will depart for Uruguay next Wednesday.
