Fiji Warriors have successfully defended the World Rugby Pacific Challenge title after thrashing Tonga A 57‑7 in their last match for the World Rugby Pacific Challenge.
The Warriors started putting points on the board at the 8th minute of the play with Inia Tawalo scoring the first try following two tries from Albert Tuisue.
Other tries form the first half was scored by Tevita Ratuva, Veramu Diki-diki-lati, Waisale Urabuta and Luke Tagi,
The Warriors were leading at half time 43‑0.
Another try from the Warriors in the second half was scored by Serupepeli Vularika and Waisale Urabuta.
Tonga’s lone try was scored by Fatuli Pa’ea.
The Warriors had earlier thrashed Junior Japan 28 3 on Tuesday night and defeated Samoa A 38‑21 in their first game.
Meanwhile, Junior Japan beat Samoa A 29‑21.
