Fiji U20 goes down to Columbia U20 in friendly match

The Vodafone Fiji Under 20 football team went down to Columbia Under 20 by 2-1 in their friendly match in Sydney last night.

Both teams were locked one-all at half time.

Rewa striker Iosefo Verevou scored the lone goal for Fiji through a penalty.

The team lost to Mexico 3-0 last Friday in their first buildup match.

Fiji is pooled with Germany, Uzbekistan and Honduras in the FIFA Under 20 World Cup.

Fiji will play Germany in their first match on June 1st in Christchurch.
