A 30‑man squad for the Fiji U20 team to the World Rugby U20 Championship next month has been named with two further players set to be dropped before they depart for the tournament in Argentina.
Among the stand-outs in the group are hooker Tevita Ikanivere, prop Livai Natave, full‑back Osea Waqaninavatu, fly‑half Caleb Muntz and centre Ilaisa Droasese.
Scrum‑half Josh Vuta who has been playing for Australian schoolboy rugby and currently playing at the university level in Waikato has also been named in the squad whilst loosehead, Emosi Tuqiri who had previously featured for Marist College Ashgrove in Australia has also made the cut.
The team is coached by former Fiji second row, Kele Leawere.
The Fiji Under20 is pooled with France, Argentina and Wales at the World Rugby U20 Championship next month.
