The Fiji Under-18 School boys side received a major boost today as the National Sports Commission gave $20,000 to assist the team during their tour to New Zealand and Australia next week.
Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby President Napolioni Silatolu said that the grant will certainly lift the morale of the players as it will be used to assist in their accommodation.
Commission Chairman Peter Mazey said they will continue to support the development of grassroots rugby in our country and help the Fiji Rugby Union to improve the standard of the game.
The Fiji Under 18 side will play Australia, New Zealand and New Zealand Barbarians during the tour from this Saturday to October 4th.
