Fiji U17 soccer team to depart for Oceania Football Championship tomorrow

The Vodafone National U17 side will depart for the Oceania Football Championship in Tahiti tomorrow.

Speaking at the farewell of the team, Fiji Football Association President Rajesh Patel says if the team qualifies for the World Cup and when they come back they will see the monetary incentives for them.

Patel says Fiji Football has spent over a million dollars on the players to be in camp for a year and at the same time making sure their education is not being hindered.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Naizal will captain the team.
