The Baby Pearls have qualified for the semifinals of the Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana after they upset Uganda 39-37 in their quarterfinal match.
It was a heart stopping match right from the start as Uganda led Fiji 12-7 after the first quarter.
But, the Baby Pearls were able to close in on the lead and level the scores at 17-all at half time.
Even in the third quarter Uganda was leading by just one point with the score 28-27.
Fiji made the difference in the last quarter to win 39-37.
The Baby Pearls will now meet New Zealand in the semifinals which starts at 8 tonight.
