The Fiji National Sports Commission today provided a grant of $60,000 to the Fiji National Rugby League.
The money will be used for the preparation and tour expense of the Fiji Residents League team which will play in the Ohana Cup in Hawaii.
Fiji National Rugby League Chairman, Filimoni Vosarogo says the funding is timely as they gear up for the Rugby League World Cup to be played in New Zealand, Australia and PNG in October next year.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Residents League team will play Canada while Tonga will face Samoa this Saturday in the Ohana Cup in Hawaii.
