Fiji Football Association has identified a number of areas where they can improve infrastructure and in turn the development of football.
The FIFA Vice President and OFC President, David Chung made this comment while delivering his speech at the unveiling of the plague for FIFA developments project program.
Chung says that the upgrading of the futsal court is one such area that has been developed to help grow the soccer development in the country.
He adds that since the completion of the court, it has been booked by various soccer clubs, teams and community groups all interested in developing their futsal skills.
Chung says that the addition of floodlights will see the extending of the hours the court will be open which in turn will allow more people to use the sports facility.
Chung added saying that this will have a positive effect on the development of futsal in Fiji.
He says that in addition to excellent playing fields, accommodation for players, offices and the existing conference facilities upgrading, help the Fiji FA headquarters here in Suva be a world class facility.
