The Vodafone Fiji Bati is aiming to shut out New Zealand up front where their strength lies.
Former Bati captain Petero Civoniceva says as much as they want to let their emotions dictate the way they play this weekend, they will make sure they control the possession and make hard defence.
Civoniceva adds that they will take some tips from Tonga’s win and believes the forwards have a massive task ahead of them.
This will be the first time the Bati play the Kiwis and Civoniceva is calling on all Fijians in Wellington to come out in numbers to support them.
The Bati will take on New Zealand at 7.30pm Saturday.
In other quarter finals, Australia will play Samoa at 10.30pm tomorrow, Tonga will face Lebanon at 5pm Saturday while England will take on PNG at 6pm Sunday.
The winner of the Fiji and New Zealand match will play the winner of the Australia and Samoa match.
