Fiji Bati squad for Rugby League World Cup named

Nabua Broncos players, Pio Seci and Etuate Bola have been selected to be part of the Vodafone Fiji Bati squad for the Rugby League World Cup.

Fiji Bati Coach Mick Potter says Seci does a lot of the things right and that is why he has been chosen.

He shared similar sentiments for Etuate Bola.

Earlier this afternoon, the Fiji Residents and the Overseas Bati drew 16-16 in the Battle of the Bati match at the ANZ Stadium.

Overseas Bati led in the first half 12-4 with tries from Leveni Tani and Pio Sokobalavu.

The Residents lone try came from Richard Fiu in the first half.

Other tries from the Residents in the second half came from Etuate Tagicakibau and Mosese Qionimacawa while the Overseas Bati’s only try in the second half came from Isaac Lumelume.
