The Vodafone Fiji Bati has caused another major upset in the Rugby League World Cup after defeating New Zealand 4-2 in thrilling quarter-finals last night.
The Bati belief came in handy as they rattled the Kiwis up front with a solid defence and great composure.
Their points were scored through two penalties from Apisai Koroisau in the fifth minute and Taane Milne 57th minute.
New Zealand's points were kicked by Shaun Johnson in 45th minute but was not enough as the Bati were desperate in defence.
The Vodafone Fiji Bati will now play Australia in the semifinal at 10pm next Friday.
Meanwhile, England will face on PNG in the last quarterfinal at 6 tonight, the winner of this match will then take on Tonga in the semifinal.
