Sydney Roosters enforcer Kane Evans has said the 2013 Rugby League World Cup camp with the Vodafone Fiji Bati helped him to turn his life around.
Along with Eels winger Semi Radradra, Evans is one of two Fijian representatives in the World All Stars team to take on the Indigenous All Stars at Suncorp Stadium tonight.
Evans told NRL.COM the Fijian culture is based on God and ever since he went on camp with the World Cup Fijian team with Petero Civoniceva, his life has turned around since then.
He said he is proud to be a Fijian.
He said his dream is to represent New South Wales in the State of Origin.
The World All Stars team which will have players like Cameron Smith and Adam Reynolds will take on the Indigenous All Stars at 8.35 tonight.
