A lot is at stake for the Fiji Airways Drua as they prepare to face the National Rugby Championship defending champion Perth Spirit in what is expected to be a brutal and high tempo clash.
Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula believes the local players have grown with a lot of confidence in the competition.
Seruvakula says that most of these players have been waiting for this high level competition for a long time and they deserve to be in the right environment.
Meanwhile Wallabies winger Henry Speight believes the inclusion of the Drua into the NRC will see more local players in the Flying Fijians squad later this year and next year.
The Drua started their camp in Suva this morning with a recovery Gym session before having a training session at Bidesi Park this afternoon.
The Drua will host the Perth Spirit at 5pm Saturday at the ANZ Stadium and you can catch the live commentary on our sister station Viti FM on 92.2FM.
