The Vodafone Fiji sevens team is not only leading the HSBC World Sevens Series points table but is also leading the series in some interesting stats as well.
The national side has accumulated the most number of points after the first four rounds.
Fiji has scored 707 points and is 98 points ahead of second placed South Africa who is on 609 points.
Fiji has also scored the most number of tries with 109.
They are ahead of South Africa who has scored 95 tries.
The team is also leading the race in successful conversions.
Fiji has kicked 81 successful conversions ahead of South Africa who are on 67.
Fiji’s Vatemo Ravouvou is the series leading points scorer so far with 202 points ahead of Canada’s Nathan Hirayama who is second place with 145 points.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s Seabelo Senatla is the leading try scorer with 25 tries while Fiji’s Savenaca Rawaca is second with 22 tries.
Fiji is pooled with Samoa, France and Argentina.
The Las Vegas 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.
