Fiji 7s team to play warm up matches against England

The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will have a couple of warm up matches against England before they head to the Paris 7s.

Team Manager Ropate Kauvesi confirmed this to Fijivillage.

Kauvesi said this is to allow overseas based players to get their combination right with the local players.

Lanky forward Leone Nakarawa, Toulon star winger Josua Tuisova, Samisoni Viriviri, Waisea Nayacalevu and Semi “The Beast” Kunatani will join the team in their one week camp in England.

Kauvesi said that the team is focused on every pool match and will treat every game as the final.

Fiji is pooled with Samoa, Wales and Scotland in the Paris 7s.

The team will leave tomorrow morning to have a week long camp in London before heading to France.

Fiji will take on Scotland in the first pool match of the Paris 7s at 5.44am next Saturday. 

We take on Wales at 9.14pm next Saturday and our last pool match is against Samoa at 12.47am next Sunday.
