The Fiji Airways Men’s National Sevens team will go into a three days camp from next Wednesday as they prepare to defend their title at Hamilton 7's next month.
Following their arrival in Nadi yesterday from Cape Town, Coach Gareth Baber showed signs of relief after they successfully won Cape Town for the first time.
Fiji’s last win in South Africa was in George in 2005.
Baber also highlighted that the team knew the stacks of criticism they would have received if they had lost the Cape Town Sevens to USA however, he says that the boys played well.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Mens National 7s team will lead Pool A for the third round of the HSBC 7's series to be played in Hamilton with Australia, Argentina and Wales.
The HSBC Hamilton Sevens will be held from the 26th to the 27th of next month.
Fiji is now in third place on the 2018/2019 Series Standings with 35 points.
USA lead the Series Standings with 38 points, New Zealand is in second place with 37 points, England is in fourth place with 30 points and South Africa is in fifth place with 29 points.
