Fiji 7s team players visit children at CWM hospital

It was an emotional experience yesterday for some of the Vodafone Fiji 7s team members as they paid a visit to the children admitted at the Children’s Ward at the CWM Hospital.

Led by coach Ben Ryan and captain Osea Kolinisau, some of the players even shed tears as they saw some of the kids who even have to fight for their survival everyday.

Co-Manager Paula Biu said the visit to the children at the hospital was always part of their training programme from the previous years.

Biu added that some of the players were left speechless and that the kids have now given the team a big morale boost for the next leg of the World Sevens Series.

Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team is expected to be announced this Friday to prepare for the New Zealand 7s which will be held on the 6th and 7th of next month.
