Fiji 7s squad to camp in Sigatoka and focus on defensive structure

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team will be focusing on their defensive structure in the next three days as they prepare for the Las Vegas 7s next weekend.

Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says they will be camping in Sigatoka from later today.

He says that 18 players are in the extended squad and he will name his team for the Las Vegas 7s by next Tuesday.

The National coach adds that more focus will be on the restarts and areas to their advantage and also the players’ state of mind.

Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am next Saturday, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day.

They will then face Australia at 7.52 next Sunday.

Fiji is currently in 3rd place in the overall standings of the HSBC World 7s Series with 72 points.
