Fiji 7s player Meli Derenalagi today received a gift of $500 at a morning tea which was hosted by the Fiji Naval Forces.
Commander Timoci Natuva says they hosted a morning tea to congratulate Derenalagi and to show appreciation for his duty in Hamilton and Sydney sevens tournaments.
Natuva adds the money which Derenalagi received is a collection made by all the Naval officers.

Natuva says they are very proud that one of their own officers is shining in the sevens international field adding that it shows how much Derenalagi has pride for his own country.
Meli Derenalagi has played 20 matches for Fiji 7s, scored 7 tries with a total of 35 points.
