The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team extended squad will start camping in the west from later today in preparation for the Las Vegas 7s next weekend.
The team will have training sessions in Sigatoka and Nadi.
Coach Gareth Baber is expected to add new faces to his final squad for Las Vegas following some discipline issues in the Sydney 7s.
Most of the players from the last two tournament will be in camp and coach Baber has confirmed there’s no injuries in the team.
Meanwhile, talks on having an Assistant coach is still pending and FRU CEO John O’Connor is also yet to confirm if FRU is looking for someone to help assist Baber especially in the build up to the Olympic game next year.
Fiji will face Scotland in their first match of Las Vegas 7s at 11.22am next Saturday, they will then face Wales at 2.23pm on the same day.
They will then face Australia at 7.52 next Sunday.
Fiji is currently in 3rd place in the overall standings of the HSBC World 7s Series with 72 points.
