Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan said he will be keeping a look out for new talent in the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s.
Ryan said players who perform well during this weekend’s tournament can be given a chance.
Fijivillage also asked Ryan if he will consider some players that have come back from a short stint in Sri Lanka.
Ryan said they will have to prove their worth.
Ryan also said they will not field a team at this year's tournament as some of the players need to rest due to the workload and injuries they suffered during the 7s series.
Players that will be rested for this weekend’s tournament include captain Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai, Aisake Kataonibau, Semi Kunatani and Savenaca Rawaca.
The Marist 7s will be held this Friday and Saturday at the ANZ Stadium.
Wardens Gold is the defending champion.
