Vodafone Fiji Sevens coach Ben Ryan has already have some players in mind after day one of the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7's.
Both of the Fiji Sevens side managed to prove their worth yesterday after producing a class performance in winning all of their pool games.
Team White captain Osea Kolinisau is likely to lead the national side again to Gold Coast and the Ocenia Sevens while Ryan has hinted other players including Emosi Mulevoro, Semi Kunatani, Apisai Domolailai, Apisalome Waqatabu, Sanivalati Ramuwai, Savenaca Rawaca, Isikeli Vuruna and Aisake Katonibau.
He said that other players have to step up if they want a spot for the first leg of the 2014-2015 IRB World Sevens Series.
The final squad is expected to be announced next Monday.
Looking at the results in day one, Fiji White defeated Dakuiovalau 54-0, Waqavuka II lost to Yalovata 10-0, Yamacia beat St John Natovi 38-5, Waqavuka I outclassed Bukawaqa II 17-0, Yasawa Stingers beat Koroloaloa 12-5, Saint John I defeated Marist CYM 12-10, Fiji Black thrashed Natubari 52-0, Tauranga beat Nasaumatua 38-0, Wardens Gold beats Bukawaqa I 22-0, St John II defeated Corocoro 7-5, Tauraga proved too strong for Natubari 26-0, Wardens Gold defeated Corocoro 48-0, Bukawaqa I edged Saint John II 15-10, Wardens thrashed Saint John II 36-0, Bukawaqa I beat Corocoro 29-5, Fiji A thrashed Waqavuka II 40-0, Dakuiovalau beat Yalovata 10-0, Yamacia thrashed Bukawaqa II 41-0, Waqavuka I defeated Saint John Natovi 24-0, Saint John I lost to Yasawa Stingers 26-7, Marist CYM beats Koroloaloa 19-10 while Fiji B beat Nasaumatua 33-0.
Meanwhile, the elimination rounds and the final will be held today with the winner walking away with $8,000.
