The Fiji 7s Men’s team to the Pacific Games will have the likes of Terio Tamani, Isoa Tabu, Asaeli Tuivoka, Ratu Napolioni Bolaca and Beniamino Vota.
The five players played in some of the HSBC 7s series tournaments last season.
Other players that have been included to defend the gold medal are Menausi Qiodravu, Suliano Volivolituevei, Fabiano Rogovakalali, Rusiate Matai, Glen Cakautini, Uliano Cokanauto and Luke Lutunavanua.
In the 2015 games, Fiji beat Samoa 33-7 to win gold.
Fiji is pooled with Cook Islands, New Caledonia, Nauru and Wallis and Futuna.
Fiji will take on Wallis and Futuna at 10.50am Friday in their first pool game.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Women’s team will have stars like Ana Maria Naimasi, Raijeli Daveua, Lavenia Tinai and Asinate Savu as they aim to defend their gold medal.
They beat Australia in 2015 by 12-10 to win gold.
They will play the Solomon Islands at 9am Friday in their first pool game.
