FRU yet to confirm planned full time employment for contracted 7s players

The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to confirm or announce the planned full time employment for all the contracted 7s rugby players.

This was part of the planned deal revealed by FRU board member responsible for sponsorships Baljeet Singh in April this year.

In that interview, Singh said the package for the players included planned fulltime jobs with certain companies until the 2016 Olympics.

When contacted today, Singh referred all queries to FRU CEO Radrodro Tabualevu.

Vodafone Fiji’s Sponsorships and Public Relations Manager Liga Gukisuva has also referred all queries to the FRU.
