It is unclear at the moment whether Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s playmaker Vatemo Ravouvou will be part of the team to the Hamilton and Sydney 7s tournaments.

Ravouvou has not been part of the training squad so far and Fiji Rugby Union confirms that he has been away due to personal reasons.

Vatemo who has played in 208 matches and scored 912 points with 74 tries is one of the most experienced players in the squad.

He was also part of the team that gold medal winning team in the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Argentina in the Hamilton 7s which will be held on the 26th and the 27th of this month.
