Fiji National Rugby League is working together with National Rugby League to provide training for development officers in delivering rugby league curriculums in primary schools.
NRL manager-Fiji, Ema Vereivalu stated that this is part of an agreement signed by NRL and FNRL in 2015 to develop and run primary school programs.
This is also to develop these officials to better their knowledge as they prepare for the Vodafone Primary School Gala Day for the Suva, Nasinu Area, Ra, Nadroga and they hope that they can also include Nadi and other areas.
The three day workshop that will end tomorrow, hosts 6 officials, 5 from Viti Levu and 1 from Vanua Levu.
Vereivalu says that in developing these oficials, will in turn build up the development of grass root level of Rugby League, which is Primary School students.
Meanwhile, FNRL Chairman, Peni Musunamasi says that the Primary School Rugby League Competition will be held in the first team of the coming year.
