The Fiji National Rugby League is looking to secure the services of NRL star Semi Radradra to play for the Fiji Bati in October's Rugby League World Cup before he leaves for French club Toulon to play rugby union.
Radradra's contract with the Parramatta Eels will run out at the end of the season and Fiji's Rugby League chairman Filimoni Vosarogo says he is not the only NRL star whose services they are looking to secure.
The Fiji Bati are going all out with their preparations for the World Cup, also announcing a one day tri‑nations series in Suva with Australia and PNG as final dress rehearsal just before the World Cup kicks off on October 26.
Vosarogo says if all goes to plan there is no reason why the Bati can not be finals contenders.
