The Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee will be making their decision of including Xavier College star high jumper Shauntell Lockinton to be included into the Fiji Athletics team for the Pacific Games before the 15th of this month.
Fiji High Jump coach Ben Qumi said Lockinton is the best womens high jumper so far in Fiji and has the potential to go past 1.70 metres if she gets the proper training and coaching in the next two months.
Qumi added that they are working really hard to get Lockinton into the team.
Meanwhile the Fiji athletics team is aiming to win a total of 13 gold medals at the Pacific Games.
The Pacific Games will be held from the 4th to the 18th of July.
