Extended Fiji 7s squad training at Uprising Resort

The extended Vodafone Fiji 7s squad is now training at Uprising Resort in preparation for the upcoming Oceania and Dubai 7s.

Team manager Ropate Kauvesi says that there are 10 players in camp and the rest are expected to come in later this week.

Olympic gold medalist, Samisoni Viriviri is already in camp while

Osea Kolinisau, Jerry Tuwai, Jasa Veremalua, Kitione Taliga and Apisai Domolailai will join camp later this week.

Kauvesi says that Masivesi Dakuwaqa has some personal issues to sort out and may miss the Oceania and Dubai 7s.

He says they are expected to name the team for the Oceania 7s by next Thursday and the tournament will be held from the 11th to the 12th of November at the ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile the Fiji Rugby Union has confirmed that the names of the new Fiji 7s men's and women's coaches will be announced this week.
