England names squad for 2017/2018 HSBC World Sevens Series

England have named a 20 men team for the 2017/2018 HSBC World Sevens Series that begins in Dubai next month.

All time leading try scorer Dan Norton, Dan Bibby, Tom Mitchell, James Rodwell, Phil Burgess, Tom Bowen and Richard de Carpentier are some of the senior players included in the squad.

England are pooled with Spain, France and Scotland for the Dubai 7s.

Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways National 7s team is pooled with Australia, Russia and Wales for the Dubai 7s.

The Dubai 7s kicks off on the 1st of next month.
