The England 7s team will be looking forward to meet the Vodafone Fiji 7s side again in the Japan 7s this weekend.
The two sides showed an intense game of rugby in the Hong Kong 7s quarterfinals as the game went down to the wire.
Fiji coach Ben Ryan said they know the English will try and bounce back this weekend.
Fiji defeated England 14-12 in the Hong Kong 7s quarterfinals with a thrilling encounter.
They have now moved up to second place in the World Sevens Series standing with 108 points, South Africa maintain their lead with 110 points while New Zealand have moved down to third place with 107 points.
Meanwhile, New Zealand will again face Australia in Pool B along Scotland and Portugal, the side they drew within the pool stages in Hong Kong.
Current series leaders South Africa will face USA, Canada and Kenya in Pool C, while Samoa will tackle Argentina, France and host nation Japan in Pool D.
The Japan 7s will be held this Saturday and Sunday.
Fiji plays Wales in its first pool match at 1pm Saturday.
We then take on Hong Kong at 4.18pm Saturday and the final pool match is against England at 8.30pm Saturday.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 2.20pm Sunday, the Cup semis kick off at 6.22pm Sunday while the Japan 7s Cup final starts at 9pm Sunday.
