Dylan Sage and Stedman Gans have been recalled to the Springbok Sevens squad for the Sydney and Hamilton 7s.
Sage missed the tournaments in Dubai and Cape Town due to a back injury while Gans last played for the Blitzboks in Singapore last season, after making his debut at the 2017 Las Vegas tournament.
Springbok Sevens coach Neil Powell has also included Stormers loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe as the replacement player to travel with the team.
Notshe will return to Super Rugby after this leg alongside Tim Agaba (Bulls), Kwagga Smith (Lions) and Seabelo Senatla (Stormers).
The Blitzboks are currently second after New Zealand on the overall World Series table. They are the defending champions in Sydney and will face Papua New Guinea, Spain and England in Pool C.
Meanwhile the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side is pooled with New Zealand, Samoa and Russia.
Fiji will play their first game against Samoa at 8.28pm next Friday, they will play Russia in their second game at 4.09pm next Saturday before taking on New Zealand at 7.42pm next Saturday.
The quarter finals will start at 12.28pm next Sunday, the semifinals are at 6.58pm while the final will kick off at 9.48pm.
