The Western Force has been the most prominent team in terms of conversion skills in this year’s NRC and this will be one of their trump cards ahead of this weekend’s game against the Fiji Airways Drua.
The Drua will need to work extra hard to score tries and to make successful conversions.
The Drua have so far been good in scoring tries in their last 6 games however their conversion skills has been weak compared to those of the Western Forces.
This season the Drua have scored a total of 40 tries and only successfully converted 24 of it while the Force have successfully converted 31 of their 38 tries.
While the Drua’s lead in the NRC tally and a home semifinal is at stake this weekend, discipline could trigger it more easily.
The Force are coming into this weekends game as the most discipline team so far with only a single yellow card throughout the season while the Drua are on a high with 5 yellow cards, the highest of any other team.
The Drua travels to Australia today and they will take on the Western Force at nib stadium in Perth at 6pm this Saturday.
