Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team forward, Paula Draunisinukula says he might not be able to play in the Hamilton 7s in two weeks’ time.
Draunisinukula says due to the injury he sustained a few weeks ago, there is a chance that he will not take part in the next leg of the series.
He adds the recovery is going well and he has had some runs with the physiotherapists.
Draunisinukula did not participate in the scrimmage match against NFA and Red Rock yesterday due to recovery reasons.
Meanwhile, Fiji Airways Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says the scrimmage match yesterday was very successful as it puts the boys under pressure.
He says he has seen the transferring of what they do under pressure during these scrimmage matches to when they take the field against teams during the series.
He says the boys are also talking about their weaknesses and are working on improving it when they take the field again.
Fiji is pooled with Australia, Wales and Spain in the Hamilton 7s which will be held on the 26th and the 27th of this month.
