Dragons halfback Ben Hunt said going from 48 points in a month to 48 in an elimination final in hostile territory showed that the Dragons were back on track.

With Tariq Sims leading the charge the Dragons blitzed the Broncos, scoring 30 points in as many minutes during a 48‑18 victory.

Hunt said the Dragons were thrilled with the way they performed against Brisbane, but are aware they need to start from ground level once again when they tackle the Rabbitohs at ANZ Stadium in Sydney on Saturday night.

He adds that if they want to be anywhere close to beating the Rabbitohs, then they are going to to be even better than what they were on the weekend.

The Sharks will play the Panthers at 9.40pm Friday while the Dragons will play the Rabbitohs at 9.40pm Saturday.
